Before you ask…
Do I need simulator software?
No. The Foresight GC3, Garmin Approach R10 and Square Golf connect to SimIQ directly — no simulator software required.
Can I run SimIQ and my simulator at the same time?
Most launch monitors accept one software connection at a time. Connect your monitor to SimIQ for a practice or coaching session, then switch back to your simulator to play — nothing to reconfigure, it's one connection either way.
Which cameras work?
Machine-vision cameras (GigE and USB3 Vision), ordinary USB webcams, or one or two phones (iPhone or Android) streaming over Wi‑Fi — and you can mix them, say a wired camera down the line and a phone face‑on. See the cameras we've tested.
Does it work without internet?
Capture, replay and swing analysis all run locally on your PC — a mid-round dropout won't cost you a shot, and the license check has an offline grace window. You'll want a connection for the AI coach and the optional cloud sync to your phone and TV.
What happens after my free early-access year?
You'll have the option to renew at the standard price. Nothing renews automatically and there's no card on file — we'll ask first.
Where does my swing data live?
On your PC, first and always — every clip and every number is on your own disk. Cloud sync is opt‑in per golfer and per session; synced data is encrypted in transit, only your paired devices can read it, and deleting a shot anywhere removes it everywhere.
How many golfers can use one license?
Everyone in the household. Profiles are unlimited — each golfer gets their own bag, club distances, session history and coaching journal, and the phone apps pair per golfer.
